Recycling and Document Destruction Services

URGENT July 25, 2018 – It is with deep regret that, after providing document destruction and recycling services to the Coos, Curry, and Douglass Counties for many years, we will be stopping all document destruction operations, but will still be accepting materials for destruction for a limited time.

Our last day that we will be accepting documents to be destroyed will be October 31, 2018. Our Warehouse will close permanently on December 31, 2018.

These are some available options for your confidential document destruction:

  • Shred-It 1-(844)-334-8559
  • Sister’s Shred 1-(541)-677-8005
  • Iron Mountain 1-(800)-899-4766

Additionally, we are no longer accepting cardboard, office paper, and other such paper products for recycling effective immediately. In these economic times, the cost of recycling has exceeded the value of the materials being recycled, and is a nationwide issue.

You can call Les’ and North Bend Sanitation to see how to proceed with disposal or recycling of your materials.

Please note – we will continue to provide bins for recyclable beverage containers.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Star of Hope thanks you for your business and support over these many years. It has allowed Star of Hope to provide safe housing, transportation, and meaningful employment to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

If you have any questions, please call Robert Morris, Document Destruction/Recycling Manager at 541-756-6946 or Star of Hope at 541-888-8893.
